Moreover, these cover photos are always of celebrities and models, and as such, my perception has always been shaped to believe that each other female need to match the celebrity standards. This picture show not only influences the belief and deportment of individuals, but also defines the culture of todays society, whereby an ideal human to be acceptable is given standards that must be achieved.The artist statement accompanying this photography is, Great American Women. This explicitly reveals how the topical culture defines greatness of female women. For example, they have to be fashion superstar, modern women, and all these come with super-slim bodies. This image is very alluring and sends a message both to young girls and grown up women to strive to look like such celebs because those are the culturally acceptable standards in todays society. In turn, population also choose to view these photographs in one perspective, that is, the influence on body standards such as extremely tiny waist and generally slim bodies. However, there are several negative impacts that the to a higher place image inflicts in the society, especially among the female population. For example, young girls grow up to believe that if they do not attain such body sizes than they are not worthy.
